Commentary

Linguistic commentary

n1yäsnā: according to Sieg and Siegling 1953: 269 and Thomas 1957: 119 this should be corrected to yästār ‘the double amount each’, but Schmidt 1986: 139 would rather have it supplemented to read yäsnā(meṃ) ‘from the treasuries’.
