a1... he says to him... over... It is equally a pātayanika-sin. The pātayanika-prohibition called "false accusation" has ended.
a1+If a monk... women... through his own self... it is...
a2If a monk does not know the way and a woman walks with him as a guide, no offense.
a2+If a monk, having lost hes way..., if he does not find a (guide), cannot leave the road, he has no other guide than a woman, she..., (no offense).
a4The pātayanika-prohibition called "Going together with woman" has ended. These ten pātayanika-prohibitionss are to check danger to possession and life.
a4+... if that... goes... (or) if he goes with a waṣik-thief, a vandal (?)n3 or a merchant, he commits a pātayanika-sin.
a5+If (he goes) with highwaymen (?), thieves..., (he commits) a pātayanika-sin;
b1If for half a kos, it is a duṣkar-sin. In the prohibitions regarding (walking on) a way, this sense of sin is to be understood equally. (The prohibition against) "walking with thieves" (has ended).
b2If someone ordains a (below-twenty)-year oldn4 , he commits a pātayanika-sin He (the below-twenty-year old) does not count as ordained.
b3Who ordains a servant (?)..., ... is to be made... attentively. He is to be asked. He is to be certainly asked again by the karmavācaṃke: How many years in total... ?
b4+If his mind is so: "I am not twenty years old", or if he is unsure: "(I am) around twenty years old", (he) is not (to be ordained).
b5It is thus certain in his mind: "I am twenty years old". He doesn't have someone to remind him...

Other

a2Wenn ein Mönch den Weg nicht kennt [und] eine Frau in der Eigenschaft eines Wegweisers mit ihm geht, [so liegt] kein Vergehen [vor]. (Schmidt 1974: 178)
a2+If a monk has lost his way, … [and] he does not find a guide [and] he cannot but go on that road, [and] except for the woman he has no other guide, she … [may guide him]. (Peyrot 2013b: 698)
b2(If a monk) ordains a person (under twenty), he commits a pātayantika offence. This [person] is not ordained. (Peyrot 2013b: 692)
b4+If he thinks [lit. if his idea is] «I am not yet twenty years old» or if he is uncertain about it, … and he is not … close to twenty years, and in his mind he decisively has [the idea] «I am twenty years old», and he has nobody to remind him, … (Peyrot 2013b: 699)
