Translation

a6... being invited by the voice... through the touching of a ray of light (?), they gathered at the ṛṣivadana-monastery. Then the Buddha...
a7... rose up from his seat like... Like the moon a cloud, he exited his monastic cell. Like the son from mount Udaya, gold colored...
a8... like... the whole assembly became glad. Then Buddha the teacher, having come into the assembly, sitting on a seat, ... Śāriputra...
b1... Śāriputra, with hands in añjali-position, says: In the klumpäri*-tune: Buddha the teacher went into the monastic cell. One monk, meditating...
b2... or why does he think this, sitting there? Our effort of sixty [and] forty Kalpas has become comprehensively exhausted. Our knowledge has come to a halt.
b2+Then Buddha the teacher... the (distinction?) of endless great knowledge of the honorable Maitreya...
