a1... thus it is said. And (the thing) the thinking in connection with which is called "aversion-thinking" is nirvid. (?)
a1+Happiness, pleasure, joy - this is called prāmodya.
a2+The pleasure which arises for (that) reason to the one having manifested the eightfold path at that time, that prāmodya is called joy (plānto).
a3+The cause of the mind being soft, conducive to gathering virtues, is called praśrabdhi, alleviation.
a4‘[the mind] is disposed to gather virtues by the power of prasrabdhi [serenity] for the good morals.
a4+As kalyāṇa gold is disposed to be worked if it is soft, so prasrabdhi [serenity] is to be understood.’
a5+They trust the thinking of the Yogācārin who looks for the obstacle of escape from Saṃsāra, comparable to the noble path.
b1Truly, such is the bliss of the mind.
b1+avihiṃsā: Not doing harm - this is called avihis, through the power of which one does not hurt others.
b2+The power over one's own thoughts of the one intent upon virtues that is born from self control and opposed to shamelessness - that is shame, through the power of which one is respected among virtuous ones and in virtues.
b5Having inclination towards virtues as a prerequisite...

Other

(Schmidt 1974: 224)
a4+As kalyāṇa gold is disposed to be worked if it is soft, so prasrabdhi [serenity] is to be understood. (Peyrot 2013b: 642)
(Schmidt 1974: 224)
