Translation

a1You are noble. Thus, (beings?) go to you.
a1+Having given up the own task...
a2+He completely evokes... abstentions from deeds that should not be done and the good, pure manner of the monk.
a3A blessing has been done by you. The jewel that is your mind has washed away all evil.
a4I honor you, the purger.
a4+... you have established superior dominion over all laws [and] over all thought ... all beings.
b1You roar the lion's roar in the fourfold assembly.
b1+I honor... of human birth...
b2+You make known the exceeding loveliness of the body that is your knowledge through the great track of your good word.
b3... good law... you shaved... from the mind cāsaṃ.
b3+I honor you, all...
b4You (can?) bear the great seed of the law, (unbearable?) by anyoneone other than you.

Commentary

Remarks

Transcription and translation are based on Carling et al. 2009.
Transcription and references have been transferred from the "Text and Reference Database of the Tocharian A Language" (Gerd Carling Lund University) (funded by the Bank of Sweden Tercentenary Foundation and SCAS).

Philological commentary

For the correspondence with Skt. see Schmidt 1987:
n1cāsaṃ probably has to be read as vāsaṃ "false notion", i.e. "you have shaved false notion from the mind".
