Commentary

Linguistic commentary

We have some late forms: two times a nominative plural in -an instead of -añ (b2, b4) and the relative pronoun se for kuse (b2). The former is in accordance with the unusual spelling of geminate -ññ- by -ṃñ- pointing to a genuine depalatalization in the TB variety of the scribe, with -ṃñ- being a somewhat artificial orthography.
n1The adjective tsuwaits(ts)e is based on the adverb tsuwai ‘towards, up to’, so that it may refer to the progress of the bodhisattvas in their career.

Philological commentary

In b4 a meter of 15 syllables seems to start; the text before seems to be prose.
The use of anusvāra is remarkable; often we find redundant anusvāra and also anusvāra before palatal nasal instead of palatal geminate.
n2It seems that tasemane has to be constructed with the preceding comitative erepatempa even though this belongs to a different pāda.

Remarks

Might belong to the same manuscript as PK NS 112.
