Commentary

Remarks

The fragments of the PK AS 19 series (19.1-19.22) all belong to the same manuscript. This is a complete but damaged leaf. There is no trace of a leaf number. The string hole interrupts the third line. This large fragment consists of two parts that have not been joined consistently. In the present disposition one could believe that the two main parts are joined perfectly, but actually there is gap of approximately one akṣara between the two parts. At the right end of the preliminary verso there are remnants of akṣaras of another leaf. The latter are bigger than the ones found on this fragment.

Philological commentary

n1After ṣale the reading tseṇku is almost certain, but this form is of course not correct. One may tentatively propose a scribal error for the regular preterite participle tsetseṇku.
n2There are 15 akṣaras lost at the end of the line.
n3There are ten akṣaras lost at the end of the line.
n4There are nine akṣaras lost at the end of the line.
n5There are eight akṣaras lost at the beginning of the line and nine akṣaras at the end of the line.
n6There eight akṣaras lost at the beginning of the line and eight akṣaras lost at the end of the line.
