Commentary
Remarks
Transcription and translation are based on Carling et al. 2009.

The left part of a leaf including the string hole space in lines 3 and 4. |
Philological commentary
The verso is in prose, the recto in verse.
n1 | ṣim is the end of a 1.sg. optative, probably klyoṣim 'may I hear', less likely are wleṣim 'may I work' and wināṣim 'may I worship'. |
n2 | mant is probably the end of a 3.pl. middle preterite I form from a root ending in -m, such as sāmā- 'to collect' or kāmā- 'to bring'. At the end ka is the beginning of a term being fem.pl.; since karkes 'branches' is most likely masculine, it does not fit. |
