Commentary

Philological commentary

Comments from Filliozat 1948:
n1The line is mostly illegible, but there appears to be something that looks like "80", cf. W 3 a6.
n2One can barely make out an akṣara that looks like sta. Thus, we would have something like lästawa. Could this possible be related to lasto in THT 497 b7?
n3[la] kṣalle or rather päkṣalle (as read by Hoernle)?
n4Many akṣaras read by Filliozat and Broomhead are illegible.
n5lyotai could also be read as lyautai, which would be the regular form of this word.
n6vacalle or taccalle?
n7Filliozat's reading of rānMe (Fremdzeichen M!) is far from clear.
