Commentary
Philological commentary
| Comments from Filliozat 1948: |
n1 | The line is mostly illegible, but there appears to be something that looks like "80", cf. W 3 a6. |
n2 | One can barely make out an akṣara that looks like sta. Thus, we would have something like lästawa. Could this possible be related to lasto in THT 497 b7? |
n3 | [la] kṣalle or rather päkṣalle (as read by Hoernle)? |
n4 | Many akṣaras read by Filliozat and Broomhead are illegible. |
n5 | lyotai could also be read as lyautai, which would be the regular form of this word. |
n6 | vacalle or taccalle? |
n7 | Filliozat's reading of rānMe (Fremdzeichen M!) is far from clear. |
