Commentary

Remarks

*Transcription and translation are based on Carling et al. 2009.
*Transcription and references have been transferred from the "Text and Reference Database of the Tocharian A Language" (Gerd Carling Lund University) (funded by the Bank of Sweden Tercentenary Foundation and SCAS).

Philological commentary

n1s klopant: cf. A 152 empelyās klopant or YQ II.1 saṃsārṣinās klopantyo.
n2(niṣkra)māntaṃ: metre of 4 x 17 ( 6 ¦ 6 ¦ 5).
n3 tās : : probably the end of pāda c.
n4cem el: the verb may have been either 'give' or 'receive'.
n5träṅkäṣ: the verse passage must have ended here already and was thus limited to one strophe.
n6wsā: on the assumption that this is a 3sg.prt. (not a 1sg.prt.), it must have been followed by a pronoun other than the 3sg. -ṃ, which is excluded palaeographically.
n7wär: read wsär.
