Commentary
Remarks
Both the recto and the verso partly badly abraded. | |
According to Broomhead 1962: 315 "[w]ritten in large ductus, and badly abraded. Possibly the left edge of [a] nine line manuscript." |
Philological commentary
n1 | cañcamaniyaine: name of a tune with a metre of probably 4 x 7 ¦ 7 syllables. |
---|---|
n2 | Cf. PK NS 398 a1 and Adams 2013a: 356. Although the fragment PK NS 398 is not complete and this fragment is severely damaged and fragmentary, it seems that this particular expression simply occurs twice: the texts are further not identical. |
