Commentary

Philological commentary

*For a detailed commentary and a discussion of the Old Uyghur parallel from the Daśakarmapathāvadānamālā, see Peyrot and Wilkens 2014.

Remarks

*Compared to IDP, recto and verso are to be reversed.
*Broomhead 1962: 129-130 also has sides in reverse order; he describes the MS as "[w]ritten in medium ductus, and very clearly preserved, it is a section near the left or right edge of a large manuscript of probably nine lines. The Schnurloch is to the left, and occupies three lines."
