Commentary
Remarks
| This is an almost complete leaf with damages on the margin. The leaf number is lost. The string hole is damaged and interrupts line 2 and 3. There are traces of horizontal and vertical ruling. The script is less formal than in the average TA manuscript. On one side of the leaf the akṣaras of another leaf are imprinted covering the original akṣaras almost completely. Unfortunately, this provisional verso side thus will have to remain without transliteration (for now). |
Philological commentary
| n1 | The metrical passage here has 4 x 18 syllables with a rhythm 7/7/4. |
|---|---|
| n2 | The metrical passage in the tune bahudantāka presumably is 4 x 25 syllables with a rhythm 5/5/8/7 or 7/8. |
