Commentary

Philological commentary

n1This śa looks very weird. Ching compares THT 2682 a2 and argues that it should be read as 'ta'. However, THT 2682 a2 reads putaiyn[e], not putaiyśe.
n2The signature consists of the word for 'signature' (Ching and Ogihara 2010: 85, fn. 23).
n3Ogihara apud Ching 2017: 371 explains parramañi as Sanskrit pramāṇa 'measure'.
