Commentary

Philological commentary

This fragment is a writing excercise of some very untrained scribe, cf. for instance palainne (a1) which is obviously a mistake for pelaikne. For line b2 cf. PK AS 4B: b2 (= PK NS 120; S-supp or 500.3 in Lévi 1933; Thomas 1966a incorrectly calls this fragment S8).
n1wri: curved stroke above.
n2pakāna: na added below.

Remarks

According to Broomhead 1962: 277 "[t]he manuscript is written in a very bad, untutored hand. Medium sized ductus, clearly preserved. The recto has three lines, and verso only two lines."
