Commentary

Philological commentary

The restoration to "(king) Subhāṣitagaveṣin" by Broomhead is probably wrong. Very probably not a narrative.

Remarks

According to Broomhead 1962: 353 "[w]ritten in small ductus, and clearly preserved, it is from the middle of a five line manuscript".
