Commentary

Philological commentary

n1 Might ṣeri actually be peri?
n2 for first person -uwa cf. pleṅkuwa, prekuwa. As far as I can see, this is the first attestation of the first person singular preterite of -.
n3 This could be a form derived from pärk- 'ask', thus maybe 'request', but the derivation is obscure.
