Philological commentary

n1 Considering the last akṣara of line a2, one might be tempted to read mā kä instead of mā k

Remarks

In one frame with A 396, A 396.a and A 396.c. This fragment was not edited in Sieg and Siegling 1921; the word mrakampal was cited in the introduction to the manuscript on p. 219, but the same word occurs also in A 396.c. Possibly the lower margin of the recto (upper of the verso) is preserved. If so, the fact that this margin is larger on the side that is now the verso, could be an indication that that was in fact the recto.
