Commentary
Philological commentary
| n1 | Two hapax legomena, the latter transparently being an agent noun of āks- 'anounce, instruct'. The first one could be an infinitive of an unknown verb. Adams lists three seperate stems in ru-, of which none really fit the context; but ru- 'open' seems to be morphologically the best contender. But if lyukesiś is a personal name, rawesi might be too. |

| n2 | This seems to be a set phrase, where āś empelle and palsko tswaśke are parallel. Thus, we would expect tswaśke to mean something similar to empelle. Maybe it is related to tsu- 'adhere'. |
