Commentary

Linguistic commentary

*In line a3, the two akṣaras (prame of PPU 151a aprameyam asaṃkhyeyam are missing between the two fragments. It is therefore certain that the inf. ending tsi was lost in the lacuna in b3. Moreover, the in b3 after the lacuna is not in a ligature, so that it cannot be tsi.

Philological commentary

*This colophon is found at the end of the Śatapañcāśatka (Prasādapratibhodbhava) of Mātṛceṭa. The Tocharian text, identified by Pinault 2007: 208, is longer, covering apparently three lines, but apart from aknātsa 'fool' no text reconstruction is possible.
*Line a1 = PPU 148d; line a2 = PPU 150a; a3 = PPU 151a; a4 = PPU 152a; b2 = PPU end.

Remarks

*Two small fragments from the same leaf; the Śatapañcāśatka is followed by a colophon and a text in TB.The left-hand fragment measures 3.0 cms in height and 3.0 cms in width and contains parts of lines a2-4 and b2-3. The right-hand fragment, measuring 3.9 cms in height and 3.1 cms in width, contains parts of lines a1-3 and b3-5 and preserves the upper margin of the recto (lower margin of the verso).
