Translation

a1Here, Buddha the teacher proclaims the law to the girl Muktikā.

Philological commentary

Schmidt points out that the motive of this graffito appears in the Adhikaraṇavastu of the Sarvāstivādins, as well as in Tocharian B manuscripts and the old turkic Maitrisimit.
