Commentary

Linguistic commentary

Note the double consonant rṣakāñcca for rṣakāñca 'female sage'.

Remarks

Small fragment from the right part of a five-line leaf with the right margin preserved. Partly edited in Sieg and Siegling 1953: 323 sub no. 354.

Philological commentary

n1-śk(·) is the end of a diminutive form.
n2ky(ā)na is the causative preterite of kän- ‘fulfill'; since the following sign is unreadable (certainly not ṣṣäṃ as read by Tamai), it may also be another person of that stem.
