Commentary
Remarks
The fragment is quite abraded, torn on folds, and contains several holes. |
Philological commentary
n1 | klai(na)ṣṣai wertsya(ntse): Because of the adjective klai(na)ṣṣai, which is obl.sg.f., the following wertsya must be restored as wertsya(ntse): the adjective excludes plural forms, and the preserved part wertsya excludes the oblique or secondary case forms, which should rather have wertsyai. |
---|---|
n2 | okai: The first akṣara o is not written correctly; instead of the usual loop from the right to the upper left it has two of these loops. The following akṣara kai may have a barred k, in which case it would have to read kkai. |
