Philological commentary

The english translation is based on the chinese one, were hkuñcuy is identified with chin. 公主 and sinphu with 亲妇. This is likely correct, since the image the inscription comments on also has these terms written in Chinese (cf. 图 II-292 in Zhao and Rong 2020). |
