Commentary

Remarks

Part of a "Nonnenritual", as noticed by Sieg and Siegling 1921: 229 and confirmed by Ogihara 2009: 481.

Philological commentary

n1Based on A 414 b3 and on PK NS 10 b1, together with Ogihara 2009: 482 I would tentatively restore anujānī(yāt).
n2Considering the traces of the aksharas on the fragment, the reading (ka)rmavāñckā is more plausible, pace Ogihara 2009: 482, who proposes (ka)rmavāñcke.

Linguistic commentary

The form (ka)rmavāñckā differs from the two forms attested in the corpus, i.e. karmavāckāñce and karmawāckāñce, see Carling and Pinault 2023: 98 s.v. karmavāckāñc*.
