Commentary

Philological commentary

There's Chinese text on the verso. It appears to be from the Lotus-Sutra.
n1The illegible akṣara looks a little bit like the following 'klyū', but the u-diacritic is attached on the left instead of on the right. Maybe the scribe simply wrote the akṣara again and intentionally smeared the first akṣara?
n2The line seems to contain the word meñantsene, but I can't figure out the rest.
