Commentary

Philological commentary

n1 Or ś(ä)lāwane
n2 This seems to be the only attestation of the genitive of ṣarya 'dear'. It's inflection is like that of śana 'wife'.
n3 We shouldn't restore (sa)ṅka like Ching, because the expected form would be sāṅk.
