Philological commentary
| n1 | According to the editors, this is the name of a demon who also occurs in the Buddhacarita. In Sanskrit, the name is written as āṭavaka-, in the Sanskrit documents unearthed in Kizil however, the forms āḍavaka- and aḍavaka- are attested. |
