Commentary

Remarks

*Part of a "Nonnenritual", as noticed by Sieg and Siegling 1921: 229 and confirmed by Ogihara 2009: 481.

Philological commentary

n1Ogihara 2009: 481 restores (kiṃ saṃgha)sya k(araṇīyam).
n2Ogihara 2009: 481 restores (āroci)tañ ca : prave(dayataḥ), but, based on the traces of the akshara, te looks more plausible. It also corresponds to the Sanskrit text of the Prātimokṣa-sūtra (von Simson 1986), showing ārocite ca pravedayataḥ.
n3cf. /// racintā A 415 b3.
n4Based on the context, I would tentatively restore (saṃ)ghena.
