Commentary

Philological commentary

n1 As noted by Ching and Ogihara 2013: 108–109, the character following "1000" is the rare character for "10,000". They further suggest that the last character is then "100,000" (cf. already Klaus T. Schmidt apud Maue 1997: 9, as pointed out to me by Dieter Maue, p.c.).
