Commentary
Philological commentary
* | Comments from Filliozat 1948: |
n1 | Hoernle reads wkata instead of tsäṅkana |
n2 | The alleged "kartse" of Broomhead and Filliozat is not clear at all. The part above the "rtse" looks like a "r" without any trace of an e-diacritic. The part below is basically illegible. Also, the "rña" can't be correct: The "ña" would be too low. It looks rather like ñña. |
n3 | ypantse instead of y[ṣ]antse? |
n4 | Filliozat's "nāko" is a ghost word. |
n5 | The e-diacritic on ye is interestingly attached to the top left. Usually, it is roughly in the middle. |
n6 | The Filliozat/Broomhead reading rimmā is almost certainly wrong. If you compare the first akṣara with the "a" in the first line, you will notice that they're the same. They even have in common that they are written a bit low compared to the other akṣaras. The second akṣara has an i-diacritic, but not much else is visible. |
