Translation

a1+(Whosever) hand receives honor (?), allotment, harvest (?), he is without trickery, without deception.
a2+The one behaving the same way according to the law is one who fulfills the thought of Buddha the teacher.
a3+Thus he does not stretch himself up (= puff himself up?),
a4nor does he oppress others.
a4+To adorn the monk-virtues, he takes up the dhūtaguṇa of using only a single seat.
a5In this way, ... the dhūtaguṇa of using only one seat...

Other

a1+(Even?) if … hand that may allot honour and receive the harvest, he is without trickery [and] without deception, and by his consistent conduct according to the law, he attains the state of mind [lit. thought] of the Buddha, the teacher. (Peyrot 2013b: 674)
a3+Auf diese Weise zieht er weder sich selbst empor, noch bedrückt er andere. (Schmidt 1974: 314)
