Commentary
Linguistic commentary
| n1 | Admittedly, ane 'inside, into' is normally not used as a preposition, but only as a postposition or an adverb, usually following a noun (Carling et al. 2009: 10). Nevertheless, taking it here as 'into' fits the context: the women are filling all possible storage place with (inflammable) substances. |

| n2 | Even though the form of the word is a little surprising, sakkāk clearly stands for TA skāk* 'balcony' (TEB II: 156). |
| n4 | ets clearly stands for eṃts (Peyrot 2010b: 137; not with Malzahn should we read pats\). yisli stands for yäsli 'envy' (Peyrot l.c.). |
