Translation
a1 | Then, he will never be liberated from the three worlds. If he is born among men, he will exit the womb blind. |
---|---|
a1+ | "If you were to ask me the fruit of the deed, I would say (it) with imperishable knowledge." |
a2 | He would not stop speaking (?). |
a2+ | ... he is born having forgotten everything. |
a3 | celui qui par ailleurs fait obstacle à l'acquisition d'un vaste savoir. |
a3 | Someone who prevents (others) from acquiring broad knowledge is born blind... |
a4 | "I do not tell him his end if he then is liberated from hell. |
a4+ | ... for the good of the many." |
a5 | c'est pourquoi après avoir fait obstacle c'est l'enfer sans fin qui lui échoit. |
a5 | Having made an obstacle in this way, his hell is without end. |
a5+ | ... of moral conduct... |
a6 | ... would see his life... (and) would study his own law more. |
b1 | So he is born blind. He never ever sees Nirvāṇa. |
b2 | ... would be seen... manner... with his eye of knowledge. ... of someone who prevents (others) in monkhood... |
b2+ | Thus he is born blind. |
b3 | So he sees the true law. ... of the group of all laws... |
b3+ | His pure body that is the law had to be seen. |
b4 | He who prevents... in monkhood... |
b5 | Thus he is born blind. He does not see the body of the Buddhas. The pure... of good behavior... |
b5+ | The seed of Buddha-rank would be sown by him. |
b6 | ... prevents in leaving home... |
Other
a4 | I will never tell his end if he is redeemed from hell then. (cf 278) (Peyrot 2013b: 317) |
