| n1 | A word of unclear meaning, also occurs in THT 490, where the form is kaukoṃ, not kaukaṃ. |
| n2 | cf. maṅkarāñcana in Pelliot Divers Bois Série C1, which Ching 2010: 345, 350 translates as 'old' and Ogihara (apud Ching 2010: 345) explains as as a loan word from an Iranian language, cf. Khotanese maṃgāra-. |
