| I interpret ṣameṃ... laṃssenträ as a serial verb construction that adds progressive aspect. cf. Sanskrit, where the root sthā- can be used as 'Ausdruck der im Gange befindlichen Handlung' (Speijer 1896: 62). Śimpraye is almost certainly related to śimprāyai in Ot 12 a1. However, the relationship between the two forms and their meaning is unclear. | |
| For ritatsi parktsi, cf. PK AS 8C a6 and PK NS 274. Collocation of rit- and pärk- seems to have been idiomatic. |
