Commentary
Remarks
According to three different labels on the frame, this fragment may belong together with A 154. The reason for this is evidently the word wālätkāñ, which occurs in line a2 of this fragment as well as in A 154 a5. I have not yet found more precise matches proving that the two fragments belong to the same leaf. |
Philological commentary
n1 | : cf. A 154 a5 tmäṣ tom wālätkāñ kaṣtyo miṣānt 'then these turtles were tortured by hunger'. The translation 'turtles' follows Schmidt 1974: 256. |
---|---|
n2 | ts·ātär: perhaps ts(k)ātär 'will be pulled out', cf. A 154 a4 śākant 'were pulled out'. |
