Commentary

Remarks

*An effaced vertical black line at the end of the top line of the recto and the bottom line of the verso is tentatively taken as an indication of the string hole (see THT 1137). This is the basis for the line numbering.

Philological commentary

n1: cf. A 220 a5 onmīṣinās poränyo, A 377 a4 kleśāṣinās poräṃ.
n2/// (wä)rtāṣimār: this is one of the very few possibilities, perhaps the only one, for a 1sg.opt.mid. to a causative verb to a root in -rt. This is without doubt the form tāṣimār cited as an opt. to täs- 'put' by Sieg et al. 1931: 438. As I have argued, this is morphologically not possible (Peyrot 2013b: 430).
