Commentary

Linguistic commentary

n1Instead of ñom\•, we would havexpected ñom\•. However, the reading of this akṣara is a little doubtful and it can hardly be excluded that it was in fact m\•.

Philological commentary

n2glosses Skt. adhivaca(naṃ) 'appellation, name' (Sander and Waldschmidt 1980: 64).
n3glosses Skt. nemaṃ 'not him' (Sander and Waldschmidt 1980: 65). The gloss obviously clarifies the sandhi form nemaṃ for na imaṃ.
