Commentary

Philological commentary

n1This may be restored as K(ame)k(iś)k(aṃne) (Ching 2010: 336.
n2Another example of a place name with the diminutive suffix in the plural, cf. HWB 74(4) a8 olyīśkaṃtsa. Could this place name have something to do with ykāmekeś in PK DA M 507.37 and 36 a65-66?
n3The '¯M' is so smushed that it barely looks like anything.
n4'(Effectively a scrawl)' (Ching 2010: 336. The akṣaras here are very big and shoddily written.
