Commentary

Remarks

Small fragment from the middle of a leaf, recto and verso cannot be determined, but note that both sides have been written by a different hand. Both do not belong to the other fragments of the series PK AS 9.

Philological commentary

n1We choose the restoration jīv(anti), because it recurs in THT 497 a1.
n2This passage has a somewhat parallel in THT 497 a6 kosi • yäktāñmä • – leñene • pwā(sa).
n3putna(k)e may be an alternative form of putanākeśi 'nard'.
