| b2 | I wish to see these living beings enjoying happiness [and being] well alive. |
| b2+ | By seing them, may I obtain the joy being also myself in the power of sweet happiness. |
| b3+ | By all means this seeing of pain [that involved] aversion has been nevertheless with some fruit for me. |

| b4 | Thereupon the king, looking at Supriya with love, makes [a thought] in his mind: |
