Translation

a1Meanwhile however [he ...] to the minister Kalendrasura ... now the name amongst those who are zealous [is] Dhaṃne
a2by name was my disciple Artadhana. By name however [there were] seven disciples.
a3... the dharma, in this retinue, the shallow and the deep manner [and] afterwards the beings ...
a4Thus [he] spoke like a Buddha. "We, O God! are witnesses to this thing.
a5The vassal kings of the father-king. When they burnt the brahmin woman ... and pulled [her] out of the fire.
a6... away. These four kings now preserve the world. [i.e. become cakravartins.]
b1Brahma is now the best of all gods. When my brother put out [my] eyes with violence...
b2Thereupon he spoke a word to me. He who is now Indra, lord of gods ...
b3Devadatta was my brother at that time, [and] caused him to forget ...
b4[were] ... the rākṣasas. Thereupon for the first time they gave me the cintamaṇi-jewel.
b5in these regions. 16. In these same eight regions however these rākṣasas came to me.
b6He paints these great figures of men upon this earth.

Remarks

*According to Broomhead 1962: 106 "[w]ritten in a medium sized ductus, of a cursive type, rather similar to that in [m-ioltoch285, IOL Toch 301, IOL Toch 302]. The MS. is fairly clear, except for a line nearly two akṣaras wide down the centre from top to bottom, where the MS. has faded or been abraded."
