Commentary
Philological commentary
Comments from Filliozat 1948: 7 or 8 akṣaras are missing at the beginning of a2 | |
n1 | For some mysterious reason, Filliozat/Broomhead have taramäṣṣe pyāpyo here. |
n2 | Filliozat/Broomhead have kuntarkä instead of - ·t· tpa. However, I can't recognize a "ku" or a "rKA" within the manuscript. |
n3 | These akṣaras are squeezed into the end of the line and are written vertically, overlapping with the line below. |
n4 | Filliozat/Broomhead pissau mañcaṣṭä is impossible. If we transcribe ssau, then there is no space for a ma. Also, the alleged "ṣṭä" is a cä. |
n5 | The restoration (mäskeṃtä)r is of course very tentative. |
