Commentary

Remarks

*In one frame with A 408.j-A 408.p and A 408.r. Ogihara 2009: 278 considers the possibility that this fragment belongs to the same leaf as A 408.n, THT 3349 and THT 3335, and possibly also A 408.r. Since this fragment belongs to the vinaya, it is assumed that it belongs to the manuscript A 415-416, not to A 406-408.

Philological commentary

n1wtaṣ: cf. wtaṣ A 432 a3 (and tritaṣ a3, a8).
n2pinaṃ: perhaps for ṣpinaṃ, loc. of ṣpiṃ* 'nail' (Ogihara 2009: 279).
