Philological commentary

On one side this leaf contains the strophe numbers 7 and 9; due to the large gaps recto and verso side cannot be determined. The metre appears to be 4x15 syllables (rhythm = 8/7). Due to the bad attrition of the writing the transliteration is not entirely certain. In the translation many problems remain.
n1Emendation according to Sieg and Siegling 1983: 225.
n2Emendation according to Sieg and Siegling 1983: 92 fn. 3.
n3Emendation according to Sieg and Siegling 1983: 92 fn. 4.

Badly damaged fragment of the left side of a leaf. The writing is attrited in many places.
