Commentary

Parallel texts

*IOL Toch 27

Remarks

*The fragments of the PK AS 19 series (19.1-19.22) all belong to the same manuscript. This text has a parallel in IOL Toch 27. The fragment is the left side of a leaf including the string hole. The string hole interrupts line 3. The leaf number is lost, but the recto and the verso can be established with the help of the parallel text. Under the same envelope there are two or three tiny fragments which were partly wrongly joined together. They may belong to the same leaf, but it has proofed to be impossible to make a precise join with the largest fragment. Consequently, this tiny fragments will be edited separately.

Philological commentary

n1For ṣemaikne the parallel text IOL Toch 27 b4 has ṣeme yäkne.
