Commentary

Philological commentary

n1The "i" on ri looks very peculiar. It isn't really attached to what is below it. Maybe this is actually a "3" and we shouldn't transcribe prapuntarik.
n2This reading is tentative. Broomhead/Filliozat putanakeśi can be excluded, since there is no "putana" visible. Also, päkṣalle is what we would expect, since the phrase ṣalype malkwersa päkṣalle is very common in the Weber manuscripts. Also, the "i" on śi again isn't attached to the śa. Either this is a paleographic peculiarity that is not found elsewhere, or we are not dealing with "i" at all, but rather a virāma-dot.
