Commentary

Philological commentary

*the ascertained expressions tsätkwº ‘false, erroneous’ in b1 and oläṅk śailñe ‘easy living’ in b2 are reminiscent of Uv.27.1 or 27.2 and 27.3, respectively. Although uncertain, it is conceivable that a2 translates Uv.26.29 kṣayaḥ sarva-, and a1 Uv.26.28d samucchrayaḥ followed by the number 2(8).
n1= vadya (Uv. 27.1, 27.2)
n2oläṅk śailñe : sujīvitam (cf. IOL Toch 702)
